PERSUE GOD`S CALLING

"God does not call the equipped; he equips the called"
1. Believe that you are chosen
In order to find Gods wheel in your life you have to believe that you are chosen and change the way you think about yourself.
When God called you he called you for a reason, and he will provide everything for your calling.

2. Give God the place to change you
Our relationship with God can not be separated, when you completely surrender to God you will see how you start being changed, as you become closer, deeper drowned in his grace and love and he changes you to be more like him.
and as he changes you, you become more ready to pursuit Gods calling for your life and he equips you to fulfill the calling.
The best example for that is Jesus- Matthew 4: 1-11
After Jesus was baptized, he has spent 40 days in the dessert. During this time Jesus spend time with his father praying and fasting and as he was hungry the tempter came to him to test him, but Jesus is fully committed to the Father and he could`t be tested, this way the next verses we see that he start his calling:
-Matthew 4: 12-17
Ask yourself: are you fully committed to God and are you ready to stand against the tempter to start pursuing your calling?

3. Promise to be yourself-
When I say be yourself, I actually mean be like Jesus because your identity is in Christ! As you draw near to God, he changes you to be more like him:
LOVING , CARING, HUMBLE,  and with all these things you are ready to serve like Jesus served, and you begin to see that Gods desires becomes your desires!

4. Remember the purpose!
Never forget who you serve and for what reason. We are called first of all to give glory to God. The reason is because HE called you to, and the purpose is to give all glory to GOD.
"everyone who is called by my name,
whom I created for my glory,
whom I formed and made.” -Isaiah 43: 7
Not only that you were called to glorify Gods name- you were CREATED for his glory!!
And strive to do it with all of your heart because it is for God.

5. He never leaves you
"6 being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus." -Philippians 1:6
The work that he have started in you and through you he will finish. Never think God have "left you", follow him step by step and remember that you see little piece of the picture but God sees the entire picture and he knows the entire story- he is the father of the future! I hope this fills you with hope as much as it fills me!
Don`t be afraid like Peter who had doubt in his heart to walk upon the waters with Jesus -Matthew 14: 22-23
God is faithful and even through storms he will guid you so that he's word in your life will be completed, you just have to surrender to him.

Last thing:
Remember that many are called but not everyone are chosen ! CHOSE GOD, CHOOSE HIS CALLING, because what he have planed for you is better than anything in this world.
"For many are called, but few are chosen." -Matthew 22: 14
Strive to do your best when serving God, so that at the end God will call you good servant who draw near God, followed him, served like Jesus with a humble, loving heart and never doubted in his faithfulness.
21 “His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’
-Matthew 25: 14-30

"Now may the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen." -Hebrews 13: 20-21
